Afternoon Seminar: 3:30PM - 5:30PM.....................Pneumatic Sit-Up Blucky (Make it & Take it) : Vern & Sue

This is a make it and take it that is available in "kit' form. You can purchase the kit, make the prop at the gathering and take it home. The kit will cost about $30. Details and PayPal ordering available.

http://www.halloweenfear.com/Situp.html

Sit up Prop:  This kit will include all PVC pipe cut to size, fittings, door closer and hardware necessary to build this prop mechanism (please bring pipe primer and glue).  To incorporate pneumatic props into your haunt, it will require (1) compressor or air tanks (air for movement), (2) manifold (sends air from the source to the prop which makes the door closer extend and the prop sit up) and a (3) trigger mechanism (sensor for automatic or doorbell for manual activation).  Sit Up Prop Kit price $25.00

Manifold:  This kit will include one sprinkler valve, pvc fittings and power supply . The metal air fittings that adapt your compressor to this prop will NOT be in the kit.  As with the sit up prop, it will require (1) compressor or air tanks (air for movement), (2) manifold (sends air from the source to the prop which makes the door closer extend and the prop sit up) and a (3) trigger mechanism (sensor for automatic or doorbell for manual activation).  Manifold Kit price $25.00

For anyone interested in doing the sit up prop ($25), a manifold ($25), scissor prop ($65) or hacking a sensor ($15), just email stating what kits you want and how you want to pay for them (either at the event or via paypal).  I will then send you a confirmation invoice of the total.  If you want to do paypal, I will send a paypal request and if you want pay at the event, I will bring your invoice to RMG.
I don't do the scissor prop so I will have to get Vern to give a tools list for that one.  The sit up prop and the manifold kits include a parts list and a picture of the prop so you can see how it goes together and don't have to rely on my memory ( =-O ).  The only tools needed for the manifold is a pair of pliers to screw in the reducers to the valve.  The situp prop requires a flat tip screwdriver.  If you have pvc primer and pvc glue, you should probably bring it for these two kits.  The sensor kit is just a few cuts with a pair of wire cutters and a couple of soldering points.

This is a "make it and take it home" seminar. Those that wish to do so can make this prop and take it home. Others may elect to just learn how to do it and not make one at the seminar.

Scissor Extension Prop:  This kit will include two door closers, all pre-cut and predrilled aluminum bar, wood components, drawer slide and hardware to complete this project. Scissor Extension Kit price $65.00
